Antara Banerjee

Antara Banerjee is best known for her books, 'The Goddess in Flesh' and 'To be a Woman'. Apart from being a novelist, she is also a poet in three languages. She is a tri-lingual poet, writing verses in English, Bangla and Hindi. She has the book of poems, ‘Pieces of a Tormented Mind’ to her credit. She has also contributed to various prestigious anthologies like ‘The Kali Project’, which is the Finalist in National Indie Excellence Book Awards for 2021, Freedom Raga, Peacocks in a Dream, Macabre Tales, Erothanatos and OPA. Recipient of the prestigious Sanmarg Aparajita Award 2019 as a Young Achiever for her contribution in the field of literature, she is Masters in Image and Communication from Goldsmiths College, London and a graduate from the Presidency College of Kolkata. Antara is a Branding, Marketing Communication, Content and Design Specialist who has over two decades of experience in working with leading brands in India and abroad. She is also a social commentator, speaker, debator and mentor. She has featured as a speaker/ panellist in Kala Ghoda 2020, Apeejay Kolkata Literature Festival, Women’s Economic Forum, Rakshak Tri-Series of Debates.
