Dungeon
1.
Have you ever touched the dank dark depths of a debilitating something.
Something so degenerating that it depletes your everything!
There are too many d’s in this question.
Perhaps I could find happiness with another.
Like courage, conviction, cuddle, cake.
2.
Do you think if you sing a song in a forest, its echoes wander there as a ghost,
teasing the wings of a butterfly, clinging to a fresh dewdrop, swinging by a trembling leaf,
now blown by a gentle breeze, now bullied by a blizzard.
Now I’m obsessing on the b’s.
3.
A lone wolf howls in my head.
I drown myself escaping it. Suddenly

riding on its ghost
and my shadow a mile long.
Words flow to me from the bend of the light.
Love. Life. Luminous. Laughter.
