I found God in sound
singing in the voice of the lark,
rising from the twirl of a breeze,
through the winds afluttering,
like a toddler stuttering,
swirling through the whistle of a kettle,
curling through the somersaulting of rivers,
in all the illusions shattering,
in the morning bird’s chattering
and coming alive in the resonance of the distant temple bells
pealing Aum Aum Aum!
I found God in sound.
He rhymes with home home home.
