Wake Up
Unfortunate is he, who is left empty-handed
When life is spent and he’s left stranded
Plagued by disintegrated relationship
Left defeated, for he could hardly commit
Despite every material pleasure
Who knows not,
the experiences are meant to be treasured,
the treasure of love, who knows nothing of that
The pleasure of meeting over a cup of coffee
and a lot of chitchat
Neither does he know nor does he try to find
Whose personal and professional life are never aligned
Who has no fantasy, rest he forgets in office
as if the career is the only promise
Unfortunate is he,
whose subconscious is suppressed
And wonders, why he is depressed
The monotonous routine absorbs him completely
Leaving no room for anything chiefly
Happiness, love, companionship
Are taken for granted
Who knows not,
The thrill of chasing dreams,
Catching up with fellas, long-unseen
Traipsing around town
and breezing into cafes on a hill’s crown
Unfortunate is he, who knows not,
The beauty of travel and adventure
Who has failed to gather memories for future
Wake up Man! Look your life beckon
Allures and awaits your attention
Break free from your barriers
and look at other dimensions
Wake up man and change your perception
Not for anyone else but for your own satisfaction
Just see Man that life happens to you
Much before the days of life waltz through
